Tuesday – Friday, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm for queries and ticket purchases by phone.

On performance weekends, the front box office opens 90 minutes prior to start of performance for in-person ticket purchases and pick up.

Box Office Location

The George E. Oswell Box Office at San Diego Junior Theatre is located in the Casa del Prado Theatre, 1600 Village Place, San Diego, CA 92101 — at the corner of Village Place and Old Globe Way in Balboa Park. (During non-performance days, the box office entrance is located on the north side of the building on Old Globe Way.)

Ticket Prices

$20.00 – Adult (16+)
$18.00 – Youth (15 and under), Senior (62+), Military

Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. Please call the box office at 619-239-8355 for more information.

Credit Cards
The box office accepts all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover).

Online Orders
There is a $2.00 per ticket service fee on all online orders.

Accessibility
Wheelchair seating may be purchased online or by calling the box office, up to 24 hours prior to each performance. After such time, remaining seats in this area are offered to the general public.

Special ASL-viewing seating is in the red section on the seating chart for ASL-interpreted performances.

Will Call
Patrons ordering tickets online may have their tickets emailed to them to either print at home or show on their mobile device at the theatre. Phone-ordered tickets will be held at Will Call at the box office.

Theatre Rules

  • Strollers are not allowed inside the theatre, but may be parked in the lobby.
  • There is no eating, drinking or smoking permitted in the theatre.
  • Due to licensing and copyright issues, performances may NOT be photographed or recorded in any manner, including video, audio or still photography.
  • In consideration of performers and fellow audience members alike, we ask that all electronic devices be turned off during performances.

Ticket Exchange/Replacement
Once tickets are purchased, there are no refunds given. Tickets may be exchanged for another performance by calling the box office prior to the original performance date. Unused tickets cannot be exchanged or used if the request is made after the original performance has passed.

Directions

From I-5 South
Take the 10th Avenue exit, turn left on A Street. Left on Park Blvd. Proceed North on Park, passing the Space Theatre and turn left at the stoplight on Village Place.

From I-5 North
Take the Pershing Drive/B Street exit off I-5 to Pershing Drive. Take Pershing and then turn left on Florida Drive. Turn left on Zoo Place to Park Blvd. Left on Park Blvd, then turn right at the stoplight on Village Place.

From 163 South
Take the Park Blvd. Exit and continue with the directions above. Left on Park Blvd. Proceed North on Park, passing the Space Theatre and turn left at the stoplight on Village Place.

Parking

Free parking is available throughout Balboa Park. The closest parking is available on the east side of the park (behind Spanish Village and behind the Natural History Museum). Handicap spaces are available in all lots, but the closest is in the lot behind the Botanical Gardens. At peak times finding a place to park can be challenging. Please allow one hour for parking.
