The Silver Thread

The Silver Thread, a Cornish Folk Play in Three Acts, was written by Constance D’Arcy Mackay in 1910. The story of a miner named Cubert, and his love, the beautiful Princess Gwenda, is based on Cornish fairy tale about goblins.
This production played in the Puppet Theatre of the Palisades Building in Balboa Park and featured junior and senior high school students from Junior Theatre’s summer session classes.
